Going silk with your ties
Thursday, November 18th, 2010OK, they’re a little bit more expensive than normal ties but silk ties add that little bit more to your overall look. Well, quite a bit more really.
When you’ve spent so much on the suit, it seems a shame to downgrade it by adding a cheapo tie. These days it’s not necessary either as there’s often not much more (if any) to pay for a good silk tie thanks to the peculiarities of pricing these days. Moreover, if anything there’s more selection in terms of styles too.
Next time you’re in the market for a tie, have a look at the silk ones and begin a gradual upgrade of your wardrobe.
